At Monroe’s School of Education, we give you the tools you need to help young minds discover their full potential… all while you fulfill your own.
At Monroe’s School of Education, our top-notch faculty of experienced teacher coaches will inspire you even as they train you in the latest research on the cognitive, developmental, and linguistic needs of children at every stage of their development. And as early as your very first semester, you’ll put everything you learn into action in real-world settings. You’ll get out of our classrooms and into your own, completing hundreds of hours of guided fieldwork and student teaching opportunities.
Monroe’s School of Education offers bachelor’s degrees in:
- Childhood Education (teaching children in grades 1-6)
- Early Childhood Education (from birth to grade 2)
We also offer a Bilingual Education Extension Certificate for Spanish and English, so that you can fully provide for the linguistic and cultural needs of a vibrant, diverse student body. By the time you finish your coursework, you’ll be fully prepared to take the New York State teacher certification exams.
You have the chance to give others a great start. We’ll give you yours.
