Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management
Creating the perfect dining experience is an art. If you’re doing it right, it looks easy. But if you know what you’re doing, you know that a lot of hard work went into it.
At Monroe, we’ll show you how to create that kind of experience. And then you’ll actually do it, every day. You’ll put your skills to work at The Dining Lab, our New Rochelle restaurant that’s run entirely by students from our School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Institute of New York (CINY).
The New York Times has called the Dining Lab “the little kitchen that could.” Westchester Magazine has called it “Westchester’s Best Kept Secret.” Niche has ranked CINY as one of the best culinary arts colleges in the country. Whether you’re pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or Baking and Pastry, you’ll strive to make every single evening as unforgettable as the last one. And for Baking and Pastry students, there’s also a student-run Pastry Kiosk that serves the Monroe community. You can also apply to compete on one of our culinary teams which have earned more than 900 ACF medals on behalf of CINY!
When you’re looking for inspiration, you’ll be just a short ride away from New York City, one of the culinary capitals of the world. Maintaining that status takes work. It needs people who know it’s about more than a great meal — it’s about an experience.
And by the time you graduate from Monroe, you’ll be one of them.
